Penny Drive
Let’s See If We Can Collect Enough…
We have a smashing new fundraiser…a Penny Drive! Let’s see if we can pull together to collect enough pennies to collectively sponsor 3 horses, and 3 riders for next program year!
Most everyone has pennies kicking around in jars or boxes, or piggy banks, or who knows where…if all of those pennies come together, they can make a difference. Bring us your pennies rolled or mixed with crumpled receipts, pocket lint or candies that have lost their wrappers in the bottom of your bags…(it happens to the best of us!)…we’ll give them a bath, sort them all out, roll them up!

Our program operates from mid to late September and ends in mid-June. We follow the public school schedule, and there are no regular classes on holidays, professional development days, parent/teacher or during the summers and spring break. However, we do offer camps during spring and summer break.
Class times:
Monday - 12:15 to 2:30 (Preschool - 3 classes)
Tuesday – 9:15 to 1:30 (Adults – 5 classes)
Wednesday – 12:00 to 4:00 (School Children – 5 classes)
Thursday – 11:15 to 4:15 (School Children – 6 classes)
Friday – additional semi private instruction for independent program riders
*There are no classes on weekends

Manure Sales! Get the poop here! $5/bag or only $30/ a truckload! Composted horse manure keeps your garden growing, and our horses fed.
Souvenirs for sale all year including PRTRA t-shirts, ball caps, cookbooks and other books. Come check us out!
Safeway Gift Certificates: PRTRA is selling Safeway gift certificates as a means of raising the funds necessary to pay for new volunteers criminal record checks.
Twenty dollars buys over $50.00 of Safeway coupons, including $20.00 in gift certificates. The coupon books can be purchased at the PRTRA office.
We start accepting donations to our annual Fall Fair Silent Auction in August. Thank you to everyone who helps with this event. We raised over $5000 in 2009!
